Gary Williams, II CMT, MSTOM, RMT, LAc

Smiling Buddha Bodywork began when Gary moved to San Diego from the East Coast and began studying massage therapy at IPSB.  Under the training of Skip Kanester and Barbara Clark, he became amazed at how effect Asian Healing Arts (such as gua sha, cupping, and massage) could be at treating a variety of issues.  Eventually he dove into studying acupuncture at Pacific College and quickly integrated his studies into the services offered at Smiling Buddha.

In addition to providing care at Smiling Buddha, Gary is an Adjunct Faculty member for Pacific College of Health and Sciences in San Diego – teaching Chinese Medicine theory and treatment to future acupuncturists.  In his free time, Gary enjoys spending time adventuring or relaxing with his husband, Markus.  He also loves playing Dungeons and Dragons with his friends.
